I intend to update this blog weekly with art pieces, both 3D and 2D, that I've created.
Here's a quick sketch I did for reference for my flapper character, I ended up changing her skirt, the neckline on her dress and I didn't give her all the accessories that I wanted to.
I really ought to check how many polys she is but I intentionally made her quite low poly.
I should have kept track of how long I spent on her face but it was probably more than everything else combined.
I can't wait to start texturing her, I already took her from Maya into Zbrush and played with giving her normal maps and a colour maps.
This is model I did using my friend's face as reference, it still needs some tweaking topology being the biggest problem and I need to fix his cheeks and give him a bit of a cleft chin
I love pipes, wires and gears they make everything look so darn cool, and they are my favorite part of this, my lovely matte painting which I am working on projecting into 3D. I'll post a video of it next week, oh and starting next weekend I will be on holidays for 2 weeks so I think I will take the opportunity to post some older art work. I've got 3 new canvases waiting for me, and life is good.
